In our testing we mounted The Vector Paragon 4-20x50 Tactical 1” Tube Series on three different rifles. We first tested this on a .22 cal Benjamin Akela Bullpup PCP Air gun. As expected, it performed flawlessly. As a matter of fact, this scope has a parallax adjustment all the way down to 10 yards. This feature is very beneficial to Air gunners. Next, we mounted this to a Remington 700BLD Deluxe chambered in 30-06. I installed this solely to test the shock capability of the Vector Paragon. I took 3 shots with the rifle mounted in a Lead Sled Rifle Rest. After this was shot. I removed and returned it to the Benjamin Akela PCP to ensure the scope was still tracking. We performed a Box test and this scope passed without issue. The final gun we tested this scope on was our Custom Built Ruger 10/22 Match Rifle built in my gun shop that I have had for many years. After a fresh re-barrel, this was a prime opportunity to install a scope that will serve as the new optic on this firearm. Again, it performed flawlessly. You must check out our video review and see our range session with this optic.

We utilized the TriggerCam 2.1, which allowed us to film not only our shooting and testing of the Vector Paragon 4-20x50 Tactical, we are able to capture the reticle so you can see first hand what we are seeing through the scope.

What we discovered while evaluating the Vector Paragon 4-20x50 Tactical scope is that it offers many advantages over many other competitor scopes. The LaRee Lenses produce exception clarity and light transmission through the scope. This results in a better shooter experience, even in this 1” tube variant. The 1” tube equates to a lighter scope and is a better fit for most shooters. If your primary shooting is under lets say 400 yards, this scope will have plenty of adjustment for most application. For long range shooters you probably will be better suited with a 30mm or 34mm scope. Vector has you covered for those situations as well. They offer a 30mm Paragon Series and their professional Continental Series come in a generous 34mm tube both allowing the extra reticle adjustments needed for long range shooting. If you shoot an Air Rifle over 150 yards, you also may benefit from a larger tube variant as well.

Vector Paragon offers a variety of scopes for different applications. Some of the most popular Vector Paragon scopes models include the Vector Paragon 1” and 30mm tubes large objectives. They also are capable of a parallax adjustment from 10 yard to infinity. That fits the bill for just about any shooter, whether you’re an avid air gunner, rimfire enthusiast or centerfire shooter, it’s hard to go wrong with this scope.
